Communities are BACK!
The physical and mental health benefits of positive community activities are there for us all to see. Whether it’s reducing stress, improving self-esteem or helping us connect with the people around us, we’re all aware of how big a part they can play in our daily lives.
To celebrate the end of lockdown and the return of many sport and health activities, we’ve picked out 3 fantastic groups using Buddle partner venues this week to bring people together again:
Beth Tweddle Gymnastics at Litherland High School in Liverpool
The amazing Gym Stars programme is returning for children aged 2-7 to help teach the fundamental moves of gymnastics as well as the children earning badges, stickers and certificates along the way.
Slimming World at Atherton High School in Manchester
The famous UK-based weight loss organisation for men and women of all ages are delivering one-to-one Covid-19 guidance compliant sessions in the school hall at Atherton High every Saturday morning.
Chesterfield Ladies FC at Shirebook Academy in Derbyshire
The official affiliated team of Chesterfield Football Club, Chesterfield Ladies have been providing football for women and girls in the area for the last 25 years and will return to the amazing 3G pitch at Shirebrook Academy this week.
All these groups – and any Buddle Venues bookings – will take place in clean and safe environments, with all the necessary risk assessments and Government/national governing body requirements fully implemented before, during and after their facility-use.
Well done to these groups but also to every single one of our community hirers who’ve held strong over lockdown and can now begin their activities again – we’re proud of you and you should be too!
